We are proud to share that last night Mayor Williams accepted Centralina Regional Council’s “Small Community Improving Quality of Life Award” on behalf of the Town for the Yadkin River Park Trailhead project. This has been an outstanding opportunity for collaboration among Town staff and officials, our neighbors in Davidson County, and funding partners such as Friends of Rowan, the Blanche and Julian Robertson Family Foundation, Carolina Thread Trail, North Carolina State Parks and Recreation Recreational Trail Program, and Rowan County NC. The Town's contribution towards the project is possible through ARPA supplanted funds.
