ROWAN COUNTY: Notice-Changes to the Rowan County Board of Commissioners July Meeting Schedule

Rowan County issued the following announcement on June 24.

NOTICE 

CHANGES TO THE 

ROWAN COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

JULY MEETING SCHEDULE 

The Rowan County Board of Commissioners has cancelled both of its regularly scheduled meetings for the month of July. The meetings originally scheduled for July 6, 2020 and July 20, 2020 will not be held.

The Board will hold a Special Meeting on July 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose will be to conduct business that would have otherwise been handled at its regular July meetings. Given the COVID-19 Pandemic, the meeting on July 13, 2020 will be conducted by virtual means. You may participate in the meeting by clicking on the link below to join the webinar:

If you wish to provide comments for Public Comment Period, you may do so by submitting them via email to public.comment@rowancountync.gov by noon on July 13, 2020. Additionally, you may identify your intent to speak during public comment by joining the virtual meeting up to 30 minutes prior to start and identifying yourself during the call for public comments announcement.

These changes will be for the month of July only and will not affect the regularly scheduled times of future meetings.
