Rowan County Rotary Club issued the following announcement on Oct. 7.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Rowan County Board of Elections will be holding special sessions for the month of October leading up to the November 5th Municipal election. These upcoming meetings will be to approve absentee ballot applications, count absentee ballots and any other business. All meetings will be held in the Board of Elections Office, 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd., Suite D-10, Salisbury, NC 28147. Dates and times are as follows:
Tuesday, October 15, 2019 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October 22, 2019 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October, 29, 2019 12:30 p.m.
Monday, November, 4, 2019 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, November 5, 2019 5:00 p.m.
Count supplemental and provisional, if ready:
Thursday, November 14, 2019 5:00 p.m.
Board Meeting to Canvass the Election:
Friday, November, 15, 2019 11:00 a.m.
