On Tuesday, March 25, former Jesse C. Carson High School standout Zach Proctor’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, lost 13-9 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Roanoke Maroons.
The game took place at Owen-Fulton Field. This was their first matchup against the Maroons this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Bridgewater Baseball Field against Bridgewater Eagles.
