From February 03, 2023 Post.
We’d like to take a moment to recognize the heroic efforts of several Charlotte Health Care Center teammates who recently assisted a Veteran suffering an injury sustained from his weapon’s accidental discharge while in his vehicle. The Charlotte HCC Police quickly responded, secured the site, and provided life-saving measures to control his bleeding. Our police were also assisted by staff from our Dialysis and Onslow Beach Immediate Access clinics. Our Veteran is doing well and was grateful for our team’s quick actions—a huge thank you to all involved.

Note: While we can’t be certain just where the discharge took place, we would like to remind everyone that guns are not permitted on VA grounds.
