Rowan County Emergency Services is sad to hear the passing of the 1st ever Fire Marshal of Rowan County, Robert Gunn Sr. Robert dedicated his life not only to the Fire Service, serving as a Fire Marshal for Rockingham County and later Rowan County, but also working as a volunteer Firefighter. He also served this great nation and was a WW II Vet. Rowan County Emergency Services would like to thank him for his service and dedication not only to the fire service but to this great country. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as will Rowan County Emergency Services.
