The City of Kannapolis has once again been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada. The City has received this designation for 30 consecutive years.
The certificate is given to governments who meet the highest levels of governmental accounting and financial accounting.
The Government Finance Officers Association serves approximately 17,500 government finance professionals in the U.S. and Canada.
