Each year, NC State, the NC Division of Soil and Water Conservation, and the NC Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts host a week-long workshop for high school students who are interested in persuing careers in Natural Resources. Students stay on campus and have hands-on instruction by professors and professionals in the fields of soils, agriculture, forestry, wildlife and more.
This year, Rowan Soil and Water Conservation District is happy to nominate and sponsor Talton Correll to represent Rowan County at the Resource Conservation Workshop.
