Rowan Wild’s Live Animal Event provides participants with an up-close look at several of Rowan County’s animal ambassadors. Participants will learn more about basic natural history, species adaptions, and personal history for each animal. Although it is not guaranteed, this program can potentially offer participants a chance to interact with some of the animal ambassadors. This is a School Age Summer Reading program designed for rising 1st through 5th graders, though all ages are welcome. A responsible caretaker (age 16+) must accompany children 8 and under. Children.
