City of Salisbury issued the following announcement on Mar. 5.
On March 3, 2022, at approximately 8:57 PM, the Salisbury Police Department responded to 1030 Freeland Drive in reference to a person being shot. Upon Officers arrival they located Michael Dwayne Connor Jr (35 yrs old) in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound. Mr. Connor succumbed to his injuries even though life saving measure were administered by the arriving Officers. Officers on scene were not able to locate any other victim.
