Spencer Police Department issued the following announcement on Mar. 1.
We have been made aware of reports during the past few weeks concerning suspicious activity around residences and vehicles.
Please remember to lock your vehicle doors and secure any valuables. We are actively working with the appropriate court authorities to resolve this issue.
If you notice suspicious activity, please immediately call 911 with a description of the individual involved so we can attempt to locate and identify the individual before they leave the area.
