City of Salisbury issued the following announcement on Feb. 28.
Cheerwine, the iconic southern soft drink, and its hometown of Salisbury, will host what has become one of the most popular festivals in the Carolinas on Saturday, May 21, from noon to 10 p.m.
Festival goers will enjoy live entertainment from local, regional and national musical acts; delicious Cheerwine-inspired food, drinks and crafts from Carolinian vendors; kid-friendly activities; and plenty of ice-cold Cheerwine.
Sponsors are an integral part of the Cheerwine Festival’s success, while gaining brand recognition and awareness among festival goers and media. Commercial businesses that wish to be a sponsor should visit cheerwinefest.com/Sponsors by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 18.
Civic and service organizations can apply to volunteer as a group at cheerwinefest.com/volunteers.
The full musical lineup, along with additional details about the outdoor festival, will be released in the coming weeks.
