City of Kannapolis issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.
This Valentine’s Day, skip the roses or chocolate and give the gift of Buy 1, Get 1 free tickets for travel on NC By Train.
The sale is running Feb. 9-16, and tickets are valid for travel from March 1 to Aug. 31. Fares are one way (adult), and no additional discounts apply.
NC By Train’s Piedmont and Carolinian trains stop at seven stations between Charlotte and Raleigh, and provide service to Washington, D.C., New Jersey and New York.
