City of Kannapolis issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
All City of Kannapolis offices been closed on Friday, December 31, 2021, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. Garbage and recycling collection operated on a regular schedule.
However, there will be no yard waste collection for Friday’s route this week. Yard waste, limb and loose leaf collection will resume on Monday, January 3, on a normal schedule for the rest of the week.
