City of Kannapolis issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.
The Kannapolis Downtown Revitalization Project – Atrium Health Ballpark - West Avenue Streetscape, was selected as the “Top Public/Private Development” at the 2021 Heavy Hitters Awards presented by the Charlotte Business Journal.
Accepting the award are Matt Millward, Kannapolis Cannon Ballers General Manager; Wilmer Melton, Assistant City Manager, Mayor Darrell Hinnant, City Manager Mike Legg, Irene Sacks, Director of Economic Development; Annamaria Bassi, Jon Joseph with Barton Malow and Scotty Brown, Kannapolis Cannon Ballers Operating Partner.
