City of Salisbury issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
The Salisbury Police Department has obtained a Juvenile Petition for the homicide that occurred on 09-12-2021 at 801 Maple Avenue Salisbury, NC 28144.
The petition was served and the juvenile was released back to the custody of their guardian by the Department of Juvenile Justice.
