Rowan County Health Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
As of August 20th, Rowan County reported 766 new, active COVID cases in the past 7 days, with a COVID test positivity rate of 19.9%.
As we continue to see an increase in cases, remember to protect yourself and others by continuing to practice the three W's: wear your mask, wait six feet apart and wash your hands often. Help us #stopthespread by getting vaccinated!
