Town of China Grove recently issued the following announcement.
Services
Currently, The Town of China Grove is functioning under normal conditions. All services are operating on their regular schedules. The Police and Fire Departments will continue normal operations.
Facilities
Effective today, March 23, at 8 a.m. and until further notice Town Hall and the Public Works Department are operating under modified hours. Town Hall business hours have been changed to 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Thursday. In order to comply with the recommendations of local, state and federal health agencies, town staff are practicing social distancing by canceling in-office meetings and telecommuting.
Our park land is open, although the China Grove Little League Field and all playground equipment at all three playgrounds will remain closed until further notice. We are also not accepting any rentals for our Community Building. We will reassess the usage of the Community Building in the upcoming weeks and make announcements regarding this service when it is appropriate.
