On Friday, March 7, former South Rowan High School standout Jackson Deal’s current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Piedmont Lions.

The game took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Armstrong-Shelley Field against Piedmont Lions.
