On Friday, Feb. 28, five former Jesse C. Carson High School standouts, including Cameron Burleyson, Cole Hales, Dylan Driver, Hayden Simmerson and Ryan Street’s current college team, the Catawba Indians, won 15-13 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mars Hill Mountain Lions.
The game took place at Henderson Field. This was their first matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.
The Indians’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at Henderson Field against Mars Hill Mountain Lions.
