On Saturday, April 5, former Jesse C. Carson High School standout Zach Proctor’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.

The game took place at Kenneth R. Perry Field. This was their first matchup against the Marlins this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 3 p.m. at Kenneth R. Perry Field against Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.
