On Wednesday, March 26, former Jesse C. Carson High School standout Liza Simmerson’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Wofford Terriers.

The game took place at Cyrill Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Terriers this season.

The Upstate Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 4 p.m. at Radford Softball Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
