On Wednesday, March 12, former East Rowan High School standout Jake Hunter’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the VCU Rams.

The game took place at The Diamond. This was their second matchup against the Rams this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against William & Mary Tribe.
