On Friday, Feb. 28, former East Rowan High School standout Jake Hunter’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kent State Golden Flashes.

The game took place at Clark–LeClair Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Flashes this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4:30 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against Indiana State Sycamores.
