This month’s employee spotlight is Mel Dye, a 20-year veteran of the City of Salisbury and current administrative specialist in Downtown Salisbury Inc. (DSI). In her role, Mel performs administrative duties, maintains two separate budgets for the City of Salisbury Downtown Development and Downtown Salisbury, NC and supports Downtown merchants. She also provides the best customer service to citizens and guests who call or visit City Hall by making sure each person gets their answer. Prior to joining DSI, Mel started her career in the Salisbury Finance Department where she worked for 17 years. “I enjoy taking care of others and getting to know who citizens are. I enjoy working for Downtown Salisbury Inc. and the City.” Thank you, Mel!
