Firefighters from KFD and Concord fought an early morning fire in a wood-frame house on South Ridge Avenue in Kannapolis. Crews arrived just before 9am to find fire venting through a corner room in the home. The fire was quickly controlled and no injuries have been reported. The KFD Fire Marshal’s Office is leading the investigation into the cause of the blaze.
