On Saturday, March 1, former Jesse C. Carson High School standout Abbey Nixon’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 12-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Frostburg State Bobcats.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Mount Olive Trojans.
